What phenomena’s are created by Global Warming?

What phenomena’s are created by Global Warming?Well during this past decade the world has been changing. Antarctica one of the seven continents which are made up of ice and land has been melting. The polar ice caps have been melting by the sun’s ray which releases tons of fresh water into the oceans. This has helped increase the amount of sea level. These causes eradicate behavior that can cause Tornadoes, hurricanes and powerful typhoons. For example not going to far here in the U.S. Hurricane Katrina nearly destroyed New Orleans. The Sea level when up to 30 feet and flooded the entire state Louisiana.
Another example about a month ago in Indonesia where the climate is tropical a Tornado landed and killed over 1000 people. This is weird because a tornado is form when warm and cold air meets. But this can be possible because Indonesia is in a region which is tropical and very warm and there is no near cold air that can meet with the warm air. This very clear what happen hear; it was caused by Global Waming.

What actions the Government of the United States is doing concerning Global Warming?

What actions the Government of the United States is doing concerning Global Warming?Well you might ask yourself that question what is the government doing to stop global warming? Well the United States government nationwide has been in action. At every level to reduce the amount of Greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. In many cities and states across the country have greenhouse inventories. A government Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has been created by the World Meteorological Organization and United Nations Environment Programme which information is to provide relevant information concerning human induce climate change, potential impacts of climate change and options of adaptation and mitigation. Another program has been established by the government known as the U.S. Global Change Research Program which provides the government with the world’s most extensive research effort on climate change. Many programs have been created to prevent the expansion and the growth of greenhouse gases. But first the government has to understand why they should do something about Global Warming. But until now the government has reacted to late and only act when the damage is done. Our next topic will be about what phenomena’s are created by Global Warming?

What is being done to preserve energy?

Higher temperatures threaten dangerous consequences: drought, disease, floods, and lost ecosystems. And from sweltering heat to rising seas, global warming's effects have already begun. But solutions are in sight. We know where most heat-trapping gases come from: power plants and vehicles. And we know how to curb their emissions: modern technologies and stronger laws. NRDC is working to put these fixes in place. By shifting the perception of global warming from abstract threat to pressing reality, and promoting online activism. By pressing businesses to use less energy and build more efficient products. And by fighting for laws that will speed these advances. So scientists have found a way to renew energy. Well Renewable energy is the generation of electricity, transport fuel, process heat and other end-use forms of energy from primary sources that are not depleted by such generation. For example Solar Energy is being harvest and the thing is it is free. Usually energy is produce by nuclear plants which releases into the atmosphere carbon dioxide and the increase in greenhouse gases. But with Renewable energy nuclear plants are no longer needed.

Another type of crops is being grown. They are Drought Resistant Crops. In a few years since the heating of the planet cause by Global Warming their will be a shortage of Water Supply. So without water, human life as we know can not exist. But with Drought Resistant Crops which is made up of weed and a small amount of water hopefully if approved by consumers and scientist it can be consume without wasting water supply.

What is being done World Wide to stop the growth of Greenhouse Gases?

What is being done World Wide to stop the growth of Greenhouse Gases?
Well the United Nations are having convections concerning climate change and the reduction of greenhouse gases. One of these convections which an amendment was passed down known as the Kyoto Protocol. The Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is an amendment to the international treaty on climate change, assigning mandatory emission limitations for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to signatory nations. The objective of this protocol The Kyoto Protocol is an agreement under which industrialized countries will reduce their collective emissions of greenhouse gases by 5.2% compared to the year 1990 but note that, compared to the emissions levels that would be expected by 2010 without the Protocol, this limitation represents a 29% cut. The goal is to lower overall emissions of six greenhouse gases - carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, sulfur hexafluoride, HFCs, and PFCs. Participating countries are using ways to preserve energy. That will be our next topic.

What are the effects of Global Warming on Civilization?

What are the effects of Global Warming? How are we as in humans contributing to Global warming and the increase in greenhouse gases? Well there are many factors that lead to Global Warming but the main factor is humans. Everyday civilization creates what we know as fossil fuels. Fossil Fuels are the burning of coal and petrol. These fossil fuels make up the greenhouse gases. Also by cutting down the rainforest or other types of forest we are cutting out the supply of oxygen and increasing Carbon Dioxide which is not good. Also every time an animal dies they release methane gases from their corpse. Every time a person uses a car or a hairspray this person is releasing CO2 by using a car or when he uses a hairspray some of these sprays contain CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) which widens the hole the ozone layer has. The Ozone layer is part of the earth’s atmosphere protects humans from harmful UVB Rays. When there are two many UVB rays inside the earth, the earth will be super-heated and this is what we call Global Warming.

What is Global Warming?

What is Global Warming? Global Warming is a climate change within the Earth’s Atmosphere. In Scientific Terms Global Warming is the increase in average temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere and oceans. The earth is naturally warmed by the sun’s rays or radiation from the Sun which passes through the earth's atmosphere and is reflected back out to space again. The Atmosphere is made up of layers which are made of gases or greenhouse gases. These Greenhouse gases maintaining the earth at a right temperature so that animals, plants, and humans can survive. But with all the greenhouse gases that have been accumulating produced by mankind it prevents the sun’s rays from leaving the Earth thus warming the Earth. Greenhouse gases are like thermal blankets that cover the earth in order to maintain a stable environment. So some global warming is good. But if extra greenhouse gases are made, the thermal blanket gets thicker and too much heat is kept in the earth's atmosphere. That's when global warming's bad. There are ways to prevent Global Warming from getting any worse. But the next blog will be about how Global Warming can affect civilization. What are the effects of Global Warming? How are we as in humans contributing to Global warming and the increase in greenhouse gases?
